Economiser Rings
We supply economiser ring cooling systems for electric arc electrodes. They allow gas or water to be blown through in order to keep the electrodes cool druing the melting process. We make easy-to-replace precast rings which sit on the furnace lids to provide a seal between the furnace lid and electrode.
The cooling action offers protection to the electrodes reducing sidewall oxidation and consumption of graphite.
