30 Years Celebrated For Trent Refractories In New Timeline

2019 sees Trent Refractories celebrate 30 years in business providing refractory products to industry around the world. We have created a new timeline presentation which can be found on the website in the Timeline page which is part of the Home section. We were founded on 10th March 1989.
Back in early March 1989 Jason Donovan was at number 1 in the UK top 40 charts with "Too Many Broken Hearts". In the cinema "Rain Man" with Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise was the number 1 film at the box office closely followed by Dangerous Liaisons. Margaret Thatcher was Prime Minister in the UK, with newly elected President George H. W. Bush in office in the USA. The Iron Curtain was starting its last few months as the end of communism in Europe was coming to a conclusion and the European Union was called the European Community.
