A New Beginning For The British Ceramic Confederation
6
Today marks the start of a new beginning for the British Ceramic Confederation. All will be revealed at a launch event in Parliament with MPs, Government departments, industry experts and representatives from across its membership all joining to celebrate an important milestone in our history. The launch will also give a big opportunity to reinforce the message that we are all in a critical industry. Ceramics are often hidden in plain sight - and manufactured in every corner of our nation. Trent Refractories are part of the supply chain for the UK ceramics industry.
We are inviting you to hashtag #ChallengeYourView of the UK ceramics industry and realise that ceramics are everywhere. Please repost to support us in highlighting the importance of UK ceramics - as a foundation to our daily lives, and the UK economy.
The British Ceramic Confederation (BCC) is the trade body representing the collective interests of all sectors of the UK ceramics manufacturing industry. They aim to promote and represent a modern and sustainable UK ceramics sector. The BCC supports and safeguards the industry’s prosperity by leading sector discussions and negotiations with Government and public authorities on key issues affecting UK ceramic manufacturers.
The BCC promotes environmentally responsible and sustainable manufacturing and provides a forum for members to share ideas and develop new ways to improve the industry. Our sector experts provide wide-ranging professional advice to members, covering topics including health and safety, energy, emissions, planning, waste management, international trade, employment law and education and training.
