Trent Refractories are once again pleased to be attendance at the ICR 2026 over in Aachen Germany (International Colloquium on Refractories), meeting our colleagues from the refractory industry, identifying opportunities to collaborate and grow, this two day annual event is a fantastic opportunity to network with our peers and share ideas.

The International Colloquium on Refractories (ICR) is a world-renowned annual event held in Aachen, Germany, for professionals in the refractory industry, featuring a scientific conference and a trade fair for manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers, alongside a social programme. The ICR event is scheduled for September 16-17, 2026, at the Eurogress Congress Center in Aachen. The event focuses on advancements in raw materials, processing, refractory materials, their applications, and recycling within the steel, glass, and cement industries.

Scientific conference over two days of scientific talks and posters covering all aspects of the latest refractory research (raw materials, processing, refractory materials, applications and recycling). The International Colloquium on Refractories ICR® is a world-renowned event held annually in the city of Aachen. Last year they were delighted to welcome over 700 participants to the scientific conference and the accompanying trade fair. This confirms the ICR's position as the leading event for the refractory industry in Europe and a key social event.

We look forward to meeting refractory experts in purchasing/sales, raw materials and production, machine equipment and accessories, as well as the executives from research and development and the qualified young professionals from universities and institutes.
