British Steel To Recruit Over 100 New Manufacturing Trainees

124 manufacturing trainees are being recruited by British Steel in Scunthorpe. 60 of the appointments have already been made – half of who started work in December 2017 and half have joined in January 2018. The company is now looking to find an additional 64 manufacturing trainees who’ll also be trained to perform roles including crane driving, fork lift truck driving and machine operations.

The new trainees will be based in manufacturing areas across our Scunthorpe site and be directly involved in producing the company’s annual 2.8 million tonne steel output. News Item Source
