Exciting Investment In Our UK Manufacturing Capability

Today we completed the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for our brand-new UK-made REA JET CREATE printing system, and we couldn’t be more thrilled about what this means for Trent Refractories.

This technology has been a concept in the making for many years, as we searched for the right partner who could help us enhance our bag-printing capabilities and support our toll manufacturing services. After meeting the REA JET team last year, we knew we’d finally found the specialists who could bring this vision to life.

The new system will allow us to:

• Print high-quality product information directly onto bags
• Add customer logos for toll manufacturing projects
• Operate at over 800 bags per hour, outpacing the rest of the plant
• Improve consistency, traceability, and professional presentation

A huge thank you to the team at REA JET - UK & Ireland, David Hobson, Joshua Piccaver for their support, expertise, and collaboration throughout the development process. We look forward to installing the system on site in Q2 and integrating this leap forward into our daily operations.
