Gunning Our Material Onto A VAD Lid

One of the largest products we manufacture is the VAD Lid (Vacuum Arc Degasser) which is deployed within the refractory process and production of molten steel. In the steel smelting process, unwanted gasses are dissolved in the molten liquid, which could produce any number of imperfections and defects. Our VAD lids can be refurbished by the gunning material process as demonstrated in the image.
Vacuum Oxygen Decarburisation and Vacuum Arc Degasser lids form part of our large precast expertise, these are some of the largest items we cast and perform like our EAF Deltas. Made entirely to your specification and with our knowledge and design capabilities we are happy to suggest improvements on any current set up you may have.
