Trent Refractories Supporting Remembrance Day
11
Remembrance Day 2020 will have seen significantly reduced donations in the build up to 11th November 2020 due to the pandemic. In light of this, Trent Refractories and its supply chain have made a combined donation of £100 to the Royal British Legion to support its work for all war veterans. Donations to poppy tins and other collections will be down this year due to Covid and we are pleased to offer a link to make a donation at www.britishlegion.org.uk/get-involved/ways-to-give/donate
The Royal British Legion is at the heart of a national network that supports our Armed Forces community. Remembrance Day (sometimes known informally as Poppy Day owing to the tradition of the remembrance poppy) is a memorial day observed in Commonwealth member states since the end of the First World War to remember the members of their armed forces who have died in the line of duty.
